Boone Co. man pleads guilty to child porn charges
A Boone County man pleaded guilty Monday to child porn charges following an investigation by the Boone County Cyber Crimes Task Force and the Columbia Police.
The investigation into 68-year-old John Littell began in June 2013 when a Columbia computer business reported finding child porn on a computer that was being repaired.
The Task Force found 25,000 pornographic images of teenage boys. A large number of the photos were of minors that were as young as 8 years old.
On July 1, the Task Force searched Littell’s apartment at 4000 Hyde Park and found another computer with more child porn on it.
Littell pleaded guilty to felony possession of child pornography and will be sentenced on September 8.
