Four arrested in Sedalia meth bust

Four people were arrested in Sedalia last Thursday for operating a meth lab at a home where four children were present.

Sedalia Police searched a home at 660 E Broadway Blvd. for drugs, and arrested 51-year-old Donnie Johnson, 30-year-old Claudine Corzine, 32-year-old Kimberly Dixon, and 23-year-old Courtney Bunch for having an active meth lab in the final stages of a meth cook.

Officers found meth, drug packaging materials, and drug paraphernalia during the search.

An investigation revealed the meth was being sold by people living in the home.

The drugs, lab, and paraphernalia were easily accessible to the children.

Johnson and Corzine were charged with manufacturing a controlled substance within 2,000 feet of a school, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, 1st degree child endangering, and unlawful transaction with a child. Both are being held on a $300,000 cash surety bond.

Dixon and Bunch were charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both are pending bond and court date.
