Drug bust at north Columbia apartment complex
Columbia Police searched an apartment in the Columbia Crossing complex on Whitegate Drive Monday afternoon for drugs.
Police told ABC 17 News guns and drugs were recovered, and one of those handguns was stolen.
The building is located north of I-70 and east of Paris Road.
Police served a drug search warrant just before 2:00 p.m. Monday after smelling marijuana.
Three adults were detained, and officers were taking evidence out of the apartment in bags.
Children were in the home at the time of the bust, but ABC 17 has confirmed they are with family members.
