Mizzou hoops officially adds Tramaine Isabell

Missouri officially added combo guard Tramaine Isabell on Monday, after the incoming freshman signed a financial agreement on Monday.

“This is a great addition to our program,” Missouri coach Kim Anderson said in a statement. “Tramaine is a strong, physical guard and his versatility to play either backcourt spot fits how we want to play offensively with multiple ball-handlers on the court.”

Isabell scored 23.6 points and 3.5 assists per game from Garfield High School out of Seattle. He was also recruited by Auburn and Providence after opting out of his letter of intent with Washington State.
He was named Washington’s 4A Player Of The Year by the Associated Press.

Isabell is eligible to play immediately in the 2014-2015 season.

This is the fourth signee for Missouri basketball in the class of 2014. Isabell joins Jakeenan Gant, Namon Wright and D’Angelo Allen in Columbia. Gant, Wright and Allen are all on campus, attending classes and working out with the Tigers.
