Chase ends in crash on Interstate 70
A driver involved in a chase and crash on Interstate 70 got away from the scene late Tuesday night.
Boone County Sheriffs deputies told ABC 17 News the chase started at the Lake of the Woods exit.
A deputy tried to pull a vehicle over around 11:20 p.m. because of unspecified traffic violations.
The driver then took off, driving eastbound, before crashing at the 133 mile marker.
Deputies said the driver got away from the scene, but did not release a description of that person as of early Wednesday morning.
