Columbia man charged in summer murder in court Monday

One of two men charged in the murder of 17-year-old Tre’Veon Marshall in McKee Street Park last summer will be in court Monday for a pre-trial conference.

20-year-old Nicholas Thomas is charged with first degree murder after allegedly shooting Marshall multiple times last July.

The second suspect, Joshua Murray, is also charged with first degree murder, but tells detectives Thomas was the triggerman.

Thomas’ trial is set to begin Wednesday.
