Quin Snyder introduced as Utah Jazz head coach

Eight years have passed since Missouri let go of Quin Snyder. Now, after paying his dues in the NBA, Snyder returns to the spotlight as Utah Jazz head coach.

This is Synder’s first head coaching job since leading the Austin Toros in the NBA D-league.

The former MU coach has worked his way up through the San Antonio Spurs system and was an assistant for the Lakers, Sixers and Hawks.

Snyder did not discuss his time at Missouri specifically at the news conference. He was at the center of NCAA allegations that put the Mizzou men’s basketball program on probabation for two years. But, at his introductory news conference, Snyder said his tough times forced him to grow up.
