Route 5 work starts in Boonville

Road work got underway Sunday night on Route 5 through Boonville.

The Missouri Department of Transportation started repairs on the stretch of highway between Fugua Road and Glenlake Drive at 5 p.m.

One lane was scheduled for closure each night from 5 p.m. to 4 a.m. through Thursday, June 12.
