Columbia woman arrested in attack with bat, knife
Boone County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Columbia woman Monday after they said she attacked three people.
Deputies were called to West Bethany Drive for reports about a disturbance at around 7:40 p.m. Witnesses told them two juveniles were in an argument. That led to a disturbance in which Shavona Wisley allegedly attacked the juveniles and an adult with a bat and knife.
Both juveniles got minor injuries from being hit with the bat. The adult was taken to a hospital for cuts on their face and a hand injury.
Wisley, 33, was booked into the Boone County jail for assault, armed criminal action and unlawful use of a weapon.
