Tolton Catholic hires Jeremy Osborne as head boys basketball coach

On Wednesday, Tolton Catholic announced Jeremy Osborne will be the new head boys basketball coach.

Osbourne was assistant coach for the basketball team for two years before becoming head coach.

“We believe that this continuity within the program, as well as his other strong characteristics already discussed, separated him from all of the other excellent candidates and helped him earn the privilege of serving our community, school and basketball program,” the school said in a statement.

Osborne takes over for former head coach Tyler Clark who’s contract was not renewed after taking the team to the quarterfinals.

In a heated media dispute, Tolton Administrators and Clark exchanged words weeks following the decision to not renew his contract.

Osborne also serves as assistant coach for the Tolton football team.
