Highway Patrol investigates death at Lake of the Ozarks

Investigators with the Highway Patrol say a Macks Creek man is dead after falling out of a canoe.

It happened Wednesday at the Little Niangua Arm downstream from the Route J bridge.

Troopers say Steven Owens, 45, suffered medical issues while he was fishing from a canoe.

Owens was found face down in the water by a passing fisherman.
