Three arrested in drug raid near Jefferson City
Three people were arrested in Cole County Thursday morning after another drug bust just west of Jefferson City.
A man and two women were taken into custody at a home on Wesport Drive near South Country Club Drive.
Members from the sheriff’s department and MUSTANG drug task force carried out the search warrant.
Authorities tell ABC 17 News the raid went as planned, and the suspects were taken into custody without incident.
“It was a very successful mission. Any time that we’re able to serve a search warrant without anybody getting injured, including the suspects, is a good search warrant,” said Capt. John Wheeler of the Cole County Sheriff’s Department.
It is not clear what kind of drugs were seized.
