Endangered Jefferson City toddler found safe in Atlanta

Police confirmed Monday a Jefferson City toddler was found safe in Atlanta at his grandmother’s home, after statewide authorities issued an endangered person advisory for him Sunday night.

Jack Randolph, 23 months old, was believed to have been taken by his father, Kerry Randolph on his way to Atlanta.

According to the alert, Randolph texted the boy’s mother Sunday afternoon and asked to take him out of state. Randolph may have a mental disorder and was believed to be drunk.

There is not a court authorization for Randolph to take the boy out of state and Randolph has ended all communication with the mother, according to police.

Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers and Jefferson City police said Randolph may have been driving a white 1996 Cadillac El Dorado with Missouri license plates WB7X6A. It was last seen on Main Street in Jefferson City.

Kerry Randolph was described as a 36-year-old with brown hair, brown eyes and wearing a black and orange hooded sweatshirt and jeans. He is six feet tall and weighs about 160 pounds.

Also listed as a person of interest was Lucas Diehl, 26. His role was not explained.
