Mizzou Sports Wrap March 30th
Softball –
No. 16 Missouri softball team clinches the series but drops the sweep against No. 13 Georgia Sunday after losing 6-2. Freshman pitcher Tori Finucane pitched four innings overall with four strike outs. In the fifth inning the Tigers rallied scoring two runs, but fall short to the bulldogs by the bottom of the 9th.
Tennis –
On Sunday the Missouri tennis team got shut out by No. 9 Georgia on the road 4-0. The Tigers are not 6-17 overall, 0-9 in Southeastern Conference play. The Tigers head to Auburn next weekend for two conference matches Friday and Alabama Sunday.
