Narcotics round-up leads to more than a dozen arrests

The Jefferson City Police Department and The MUSTANG Drug Task Force conducted a “spring narcotics round-up”over the last two weeks.

The operation is still underway, but investigators have arrested eighteen people and collected various amounts ofheroin, meth, marijuana, drug money, and firearms.

10 of the 18 people arrested were for distribution or possession with intent to distribute controlled substances with the majorityof the arrests for heroin-related offenses.

The 4 other arrests beyond the 14 listed below were for misdemeanors which included possession of drug paraphernalia, miscellaneous arrest warrants,and traffic-related offenses.

Listed below are 14 Jefferson City residents arrested for various charges:

1) 25-year-old Phillip Connor with 4 counts of heroin distribution and possession of heroin with intent to distribute.Connor is currently on parole for weapons and felony drug charges.

ABC 17 News received court documents from the Cole County Prosecuting Attorney on Connor that reveal the details in his arrest.

Those documents stated Connor admitted to selling a half ounce of heroin every other day in Jefferson City, making at least $70 per ounce sold. Connor also told investigators he has sold heroin in the city for the past six months.

During his interview, investigators asked him if he had any drugs on him. Connor, then, proceeded to empty his pockets to reveal three grams of marijuana and three grams of heroin that he said he intended to sell.

The Missouri Probation and Parole Board revoked his parole. He is now in the Fulton Prison.

2). 36-year-old Antonio Adams with with 2 counts of heroin distribution. Adams is currently on parole for domestic assault.

3). 48-year-old Felix Key with 2 counts of heroin distribution.

4). 23-year-old Brittany Wieberg with a charge for possession of heroin and marijuana with intent to distribute, unlawfulpossession of a firearm, and receiving stolen property.

5). 29-year-old Brianna Anderson with a charge for distribution of heroin and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

6). 20-year-old Torone Poindexter with a charge for possession of heroin and marijuana with intent to distribute and receiving stolenproperty.

7). 27-year-old Douglas Miles for 2 counts of distribution of crack cocaine. Miles is currently on parole for felony drug charges.

8). 20-year-old Darrell Zeno with a charge for distribution of marijuana.

9). 19-year-old Keshawn Sayles with a charge for distribution of marijuana and other weapons charges.

10). 28-year-old Roosevelt Easley with a charge for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

11). 33-year old Jarrod Maddox with a charge for possession of methamphetamine.

12). 49-year-old William Chase with a charge for possession of methamphetamine.

13). 22-year-old Robert Burks for charges of resisting arrest and receiving stolen property. Burks also faces weapons charges.

14). 24-year-old Tremaine Smith was arrested for a felony parole violation.
