MU freshman arrested for alleged dorm rape
An 18-year-old was taken into custody Monday, accused of second-degree rape at a University of Missouri dorm.
Campus police confirmed the alleged attack happened over the weekend at Laws Hall. A student says she was raped early Sunday by somebody she knew.
On Monday authorities arrested Vincent Nuno, a freshman who also lives at Laws Hall.
It is the third sexual assault reported in the same dorm over the last six months, including one in September and another in late January.
