Man briefly escapes arrest from Maries Co. deputies

A Belle man briefly escaped arrest in Maries County on Friday.

Brandon Campbell, 38, was arrested Friday for a bond revocation on sodomy charges. But deputies said he ran from the jail during the booking process.

Campbell only got a couple blocks from the jail before deputies used a Taser to subdue him.

He had only minor injuries from the escape and second arrest.

But Campbell now faces additional charges.
