Clayton, Crane among local wrestlers advancing to state final

Rock Bridge and Father Tolton sent multiple wrestlers to the state finals on Friday.

The Bruins will have four state finalists: Cody Maly, Sam Crane, Jason Kiehne and Josiah Kline.

Will Tindal and Jaydin Clayton all earned semi-final victories. Tindal will go for his first state title while Clayton goes for his third.

Blair Oaks also has three finalists: Cole Kemna, Logan Mudd and Frankie Falotico. The Falcons sit atop the Class 1 standings.

Fulton’s Josh McClure will put his undefeated record on the line, as he looks to better his runner-up performance from last year. At 182, teammate Zach Benner will wrestle for a state title as well on Saturday.

Marceline’s duo of Dalton Fisher and Dylan Wheeler helped the Tigers get to third place in Class 1 before Saturday’s final.
