Two people die in fire near Lake of the Ozarks
Authorities confirmed on Monday two people died in a home fire near the Lake of the Ozarks. Firefighters responded to an address inside the city limits of Eldon Sunday night in Miller County.
The victims found at 902 Railroad Pond Road include a mother and her son, who was in his 60s. Their names have not been released, and the cause of the fire remains unknown. Officials do no suspect foul play.
The state fire marshal is investigating.
