Web Extra: Bonus interviews with Mizzou signees

Missouri football signee Andy Bauer and Mizzou golf signee Jimmy Siegfried talk with ABC 17 Sports Director Austin Kim before their signing ceremonies on Thursday.

Bauer is one of the top recruits in Gary Pinkel’s latest signing class. The lineman did not play during his senior year because of a hip injury, but is expected to be ready for workouts in Columbia to prepare for the 2014 season. Bauer switched his original Missouri commitment to Ole Miss in the spring of 2013. But in the middle of Mizzou’s 12-2 season, Bauer went back to his initial pledge and signed with the Tigers.

Siegfried is one of the top young golfers in St. Louis. He is a regular in the state golf tournament each spring and is hoping to lead the charge for De Smet once again. Siegfried won the Junior PGA championship sectional qualifier in June. He is one of five signees for MarK Leroux’s 2014 class
