Man dies in fiery Randolph County car crash

A St. Louis County man died in a car crash in Mid-Missouri early Monday morning.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Christopher Opre, 22, of Manchester, was driving on County Road 2650 around 3:15 a.m. when his car went off the side of the road, hit a tree and fence, then caught on fire.

Troopers say Opre was not able to get out of the vehicle.

Opre was pronounced dead at the scene.
