Plane makes emergency landing near Ashland

A Cessna plane made an emergency landing just west of Ashland Thursday afternoon.

Boone County emergency crews were first called around 2:30 p.m., near Route M and Highway DD.

Early reports blame double engine failure. Four people were on board, but nobody was hurt.

The plane is registered to Alelco, Inc., a company based in New Bloomfield.
