Missing Phelps County girl found safe
A missing 4-year-old Mid-Missouri girl has been found safe, hundreds of miles away from her home.
Cassandra Robertson of Rolla was found in New Mexico Thursday, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol which issued an endangered persons advisory for the girl.
She was last seen in the 11800 block of State Road V in Rolla on Monday.
Investigators said in a news release Wednesday that Cassandra was likely with her mother and headed toward Las Cruces, New Mexico or Colorado.
Cassandra has an eye infection requiring medication and her mother has a history of suicidal tendencies and substance abuse.
Details about how she was found were not immediately known.
