Columbia police arrest robbery suspects

Columbia police have arrested two men in connection with the armed robbery of the U.S. Cellular store on Grindstone Parkway.

Jamarr Curtis, 31, from Hazelwood, and Antonio Banks, 22, from Jefferson City, were picked up Wednesday.

Police say Curits pointed a gun at a victim during the robbery and that both stole cell phones and cash from the store.

Investigators say Curtis tried to sell 20 of the phones to a business in Jefferson City, but they were traced back to the robbery.

When the suspects went to collect the money they were arrested.
