Osage Co. deputies bust large meth lab

Osage County deputies busted whatSheriff Michael Dixon calledone of the largestoperating anhydrous ammonia meth lab hehadever seen.

It happened around 10:30 p.m. Friday night on County Road 739 in Belle.

Baumgartner was been charged andwas being held without bond Saturday night.

He was charged with meth manufacturing and two counts of felony possession of a controlled substance.

Deputies and the Lake Area Narcotics Enforcement Group found late Friday a bunker with ten tanks of anhydrous ammonia.

Sheriff Michael Dixon said it is unusual for an operations this size because of laws against pseudoephedrine.
