Police: woman arrested after shooting at son

Fulton police have arrested a woman for allegedly shooting at her son.

Tuesday, around 1 a.m. police were called out to the area of Essex Drive and Canterbury Drive for a report of shots fired.

Police say Laura Perkins had shot at her son several times during a domestic disturbance.

Investigators say no one was actually hit with gunfire during the incident, but a round hit a window of a home in the area.

Perkins was found near the scene and arrested on several charges including armed criminal action and possession of marijuana.
