Two hurt when car flips into Columbia creek

Two people went to the hospital on Monday after their car slid over a gravel road and rolled into a creek bed in northeast Columbia.

The accident happened around 2:30 p.m. near Wyatt Lane and Hinkson Creek. The two people inside the car did not have life-threatening injuries and got out of the car when crews arrived on the scene.

Emergency workers said the car did a 90-degree blind turn before hitting the retaining wall and flipping over.
