Teen suffers gunshot wound near Dixon

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department is investigating after a teenager was shot.

Sheriff Ronald Long says the shooting happened around 7:40 p.m. Monday near Dixon.

Law enforcement say the 13-year-old’s injuries are not life-threatening, but his exact condition is not known.

Investigators are releasing few other details about the incident. Both the Sheriff’s department and Department of Family Services are investigating.
