Short Street Garage to open Tuesday
Columbia’s newest parking garage will open to drivers on Tuesday.
The Short Street Garage, located behind the new The Broadway DoubleTree Hotel, will open at 6 a.m. on Tuesday.
The $9.6-million garage has 420 parking spaces and primarily has permit and reserved spaces.
City officials say all of the reserved and permit spaces are sold out, with nearly 200 people on the waiting list.
