Mizzou volleyball first SEC team to stay undefeated in regular season

The Missouri volleyball team won against Arkansas in its last regular season game 3-0 (25-11, 25-16, 29 -27)

With tonight ‘s victory, the No. 4 ranked Tigers are undefeated in regular season at 34-0 and 18-0 in SEC play. This is the first time an SEC team has every run the table in the regular season.a

This season, the Tigers won 110 sets, only losing eight and never played a fifth set. Mizzou swept its last five matches and swept 25 of 34 matches this year.

Senior setter Molly Kreklow had 45 assists in tonight ‘s win against the Razorbacks. Fellow senior Lisa Henning has three spikes and 14 total attacks and scored 15.5 points.

Sarah Meister led the team in digs with 23.

Wednesday was also senior night at the Hearnes Center.

Lisa Henning and Molly Kreklow were met with a standing ovation as the team presented the two seniors with a tribute and encased jerseys.

Mizzou’s already guaranteed a spot in next month’s NCAA Tournament after winning the SEC title.
