Sturgeon man sentenced to five years for child porn

A Sturgeon man will spend the next five years in prison for possessing child porn and failing to register as a sex offender.

In October, Karl Ball pleaded guilty after investigators found more than 1200 pictures and more than 20 videos of kids as young as nine at his home.

Investigators also found out that ball had been convicted of sex offenses against a minor in Oklahoma, but never registered as a sex offender when he moved to Boone County.
