Southern Boone loses to John Burroughs 2-0 in state semifinals
The Southern Boone soccer team returned to the state soccer semi finals playing against John Burroughs Friday .
The Eagles are an astounding 28-1, but face John Burroughs, a team who has gone against some of the nation’s best soccer teams in St. Louis. The Eagles prepared for a tough game.
In the first half the score remained tied 0-0.
Starting the second half, John Burroughs’ Stephen McMillian took a shot from 25 yards out, sending the ball to the back on the net in the top right corner.
The Bomber would go on to score one more goal and win the game 2 to 0.
