Michigan man killed, two others seriously injured in crash

A Michigan man was killed and two others were seriously injured in a Pettis County car crash.

The accident happened Thursday afternoon on Highway 52 near Pleasant View Road.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says Brandon Kennedy, 24, of East Tawas, Mich., attempted to pass another at the top of the hill. Kennedy’s car hit an oncoming car head-on, cause the cars to hit two other cars.

Kennedy was pronounced dead.

Two people in the car hit by Kennedy suffered serious injuries. Wayne Greenough, 79, and Marilyn Greenough, 72, both of Windsor, were taken to Bothwell Hospital.
