Crash briefly shuts down I-70 west of Columbia

A large commercial truck crash briefly shut down lanes of Interstate 70 Thursday afternoon.

Around 1:30 p.m., emergency crews responded to a rollover accident involving a flatbed truck on I-70 eastbound, just west of the Stadium Boulevard exit.

The driver of the truck was not injured. The passenger was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

The accident shut down at least one eastbound lane for more than an hour. Both lanes were briefly closed while crews worked to remove the truck.
