Columbia woman arrested for stealing debit cards at nursing home

A Columbia woman was arrested Wednesday after she allegedly stole debit cards belonging to a nursing home resident and an employee.

Courtney Guest, 31, of Columbia, was arrested on charges of felony fraudulent use of a credit device, felony stealing and misdemeanor fraudulent use of a credit device.

Police say Guest stole a debit card from a resident at The Neighborhoods, an elderly care facility on Falling Leaf Court, on Oct. 22. Officers say she used the card to make more than $500 in purchases.

Then on Oct. 26, Guest allegedly stole another card from an employee at the facility.

Guest remains in the Boone County Jail on a $9,500 bond.
