Fatima takes boys and girls cross country titles

Fatima dominated the Class 2 state cross country meet Saturday, earning state titles in both the boys and girls divisions. Five Fatima girls runners finished in the Top 20, including Riley Caminiti and Madison Day who placed in the Top 10. Fatima also had two top 10 finishers in the boys division, which included Ross Schanzmeyer and Hunter Hennier.

Salisbury placed third in Class 1 action, while Linn took third.

Rock Bridge took second in the Class 4 boys cross country meet, while the Bruins took fifth in the Class 4 girls state meet. Evan Schulte (4th) and Zach Cook (9th) were among the first 10 to cross the finish line.
