Holts Summit man pleads guilty to sex offenses
A Holts Summit man pleaded guilty Friday to several sexual offenses, including use of child pornography. He will spend 15 years in prison.
John C. Smith, 37,was then sentenced in Moniteau County, where the incidents took place over the course of last year.
Smith was charged in July with use of a child in a sex act, use of child pornography, sodomy and exploitation of a minor. He was denied bail at the time of his arrest.
Documents ABC 17 News had obtained when Smith was charged in July showed the victim was 15 years old at the time.
