Kewpie softball beats Bruins, wins district title

The Hickman Kewpies softball team won its second straight district title on Friday. It was only sweeter this time around because they defeated rival Rock Bridge, 6-2 for the district hardware.

Allie Dishinger had the big hit for Hickman, sending a fly ball over the wall for a 3-run shot.

Hickman will host the Class 4 sectional.
