Columbia police release surveillance photos of Kaldi’s Coffee armed robber

Columbia police released surveillance photos of a suspect wanted in the armed robbery of Kaldi’s Coffee downtown.

Friday morning, police say a man entered the business through the back door after an employee opened the door for a coworker. The man then pointed a gun at an employee and demanded money.

The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of money.

Officers describe the suspect as a black man, approximately 30 years old, 6’1″ tall, bald and with glasses. He was last seen wearing shorts and a tank top.
