Two people injured in drive-by shooting
Three men have been arrested after two people were hurt in a drive-by shooting in Jefferson City Friday morning.
Police were called to the scene in the 600 block of Ohio Street around 4 a.m.
Witnesses told officers that two people had been hurt by gunfire coming from a passing car, and described both the vehicle and its occupants.
Police later found the suspect vehicle and took those in it into custody for questioning. Officers found a shotgun inside the vehicle.
Officers arrested Terrance Jackson, 18, for first-degree assault, armed criminal action and stealing of a firearm.
Brandon Maresh, 18, and Charles Roark, 17, were arrested for first-degree assault and armed criminal action.
The two victims, a male and female, were taken to a hospital with moderate but non-life-threatening injuries.
