Immaculate Conception Parish celebrates 100th anniversary

Immaculate Conception Parish in Jefferson City marked its 100th anniversary Sunday.

Bishop John Gaydos conducted mass outdoors Sunday afternoon that was followed by dinner.

An auction was also part of the social celebration.

The first mass was held in a small wooden building at East McCarty Street and Clark Avenue on July 27, 1913.
