Truck crashes overnight in Boone County
Two people were taken to a hospital following a truck crash in Boone County Tuesday morning. The accident happened around 3:30 a.m. on Smith Hatchery Road south of Columbia.
According to authorities, four people were in the truck when it left the road and crashed into a tree. The driver was apparently unfamiliar with the road.
The two people taken to a hospital suffered minor injuries.
