Driver crashes into Ashland home, takes off

Authorities in southern Boone County are looking for the driver who crashed into a home and took off.

Fire crews were called out around 1:30 a.m. to the 500 block Turner Avenue in Ashland.

The homeowner heard a noise and when he went to the garage, he found a hole in the garage wall.

Authorities say the driver then fled the scene.

Investigators say the wall was pushed in three feet, causing structural damage. No one inside the home was injured.
