Columbia Petro Mart robbed at gunpoint

Columbia police are looking for the suspect involved in an armed robbery at a convenience store.

Police got the call around 5 a.m. Monday that the Petro Mart at 3850 Range Line Street had been robbed.

Investigators say a man entered the store, showed a handgun and demanded money.

The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. Officers say no one was injured.

The suspect is described as a black male, 5’10” tall, 150 lbs. and was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and had something covering his face.
