Columbia City Council approves 2014 budget

Columbia City Council leaders unanimously approved the proposed 2014 budget Monday night.

The city will have $400 million to work with during this next fiscal year.

The budget allows for a $62,000 budget increase for the police department, which would get them two more officers and one more sergeant.
