Columbia police make three arrests in murder of Tre’Veon Marshall
Three teenagers have been arrested and charged with the July murder of a Columbia teen.
Officers arrested Joshua Dewayne Murray, 18, of Columbia around 10:15 p.m. Wednesday in the 2200 block of Crestridge Drive. He was arrested for first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
Police also arrested Nicholas Raheem Thomas, 19, of Columbia around 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Thomas was arrested in the 400 block of Duncan Street for first-degree murder and armed criminal action.
Officers arrestedKimberly Huet-Linzie, 17, of Columbia at 2:40 a.m. Thursday for a charge of hindering the prosecution.
Police confirm all three arrests are in connection with the murder of Tre’Veon Marshall. The 17-year-old was found shot in McKee Street Park on July 14.
Boone County prosecutors charged Murray and Thomas with first-degree murder and armed criminal action Thursday afternoon. Huet-Linzie was formally charged with felony hindering the prosecution.
Thomas’ bond has been set at $2 million cash-only while Murray’s bond is set at $1 million cash-only. The pair are being held in the Boone County Jail.
Huet-Linzie’s bond was set at $4,500. She has bonded out of jail and has an initial arraignment set for Sept. 10 in Boone County Circuit Court.
