Columbia woman sexually assaulted in her sleep
Columbia officers say a man sexually assaulted a woman in her sleep early Friday.
The victim woke up around 4:30 a.m. as somebody was touching her. She said the suspect got out of her bed and put on shorts. It happened the 1200 block of East Walnut Street near College Avenue.
The woman’s apartment was unlocked. The man’s description is limited, but he might have been of Indian descent.
