Two arrested in Jefferson City during drug search

Two people were arrested in Jefferson City Wednesday during a drug search.

Police served a narcotics search warrants at 203 Pine Street around 2 p.m. Wednesday.

A K-9 unit involved in the search found a half-pound of marijuana and more than $800 in cash hidden in a locked safe in a closet. Officers say the marijuana was packaged for sale and bundled with the marijuana. Drug paraphernalia was also found during the search.

Police arrested 34-year-old Deandre L. Grover for distribution of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bond was set at $5,000.

54-year-old Donna Davis was also arrested on two unrelated warrants with a bond set at $6,345.
