Boone County Sheriff’s deputies investigating overnight stabbing
The Boone County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an overnight stabbing in Columbia.
According to investigators, an 18-year-old male arrived at the Boone Hospital Center around 3 a.m. Tuesday. He told authorities that an unknown assailant stabbed him twice in the chest while he was walking.
The stabbing happened near the 4500 block of Bellview Drive and Bethany Drive in southwest Columbia.
The Sheriff’s Department says the victim is in stable condition and they are still investigating the incident.
