Stover woman recovering from morning crash

A Stover woman was in fair condition Sunday night after a car crash early that morning.

Sheryl Taylor, 62, of Stover, was a passenger in a 1991 Toyota Previa when the car went off Missouri 52 near Route AA, the driver overcorrected and hit a ditch.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol report then says the car flipped and hit a fence and tree at 3:45 a.m.

Taylor was taken by Staff for Life to University Hospital in Columbia and was out of the emergency room by Sunday evening.

Two other passengers in the car were taken to Lake Regional Hospital with minor injuries.
